This is the location of Fredericksburg Historic Tour - Stop 26,. It is called the Thorton Forbes Washington Family Cemetery. There is a lamppost on right-hand side of cemetery outside the wall that is surrounding gravestones.

Gravestones very well preserved. Some of the gravestones have surrounding metal enclosures. The brick wall that is surrounding the gravestones is Flemish bond.

Newspaper article with the title "New Stratford Hotel Opens" reveals that "Falls Cottage" was built by Colonel Frances Thorton around 1736. The family cemetery has been open as a historic site.
